- Let's see. I'm 34 years, and a mechanical engineer in Wichita, KS. I'm married with two small children (6 and 3). I love narrative in all its forms: books, movies, and, obviously, comic books. I started reading comics regularly around age 8. First couple of titles I started picking up were Uncanny X-men around issue #184 and Power Pack #1. This was also at around the same time that Secret Wars was hitting, so that had a major effect on me as well. I discovered Watchmen in high school and shortly after discovered Cerebus, The Crow, and Bone. So, hence, my love of indie comics was born. Lately, I've been getting back to my superhero roots. Titles I'm picking up in issues regularly: Amazing Spider-man, Fantastic Four, Incredible Hulk, Uncanny X-men, Savage Dragon, Captain America, Glamourpuss Titles I'm picking up in trade regularly: Walking Dead, Fear Agent, Invincible, Umbrella Academy X-men Forever, Mighty Avengers, Mouse Guard, Echo, Astro City
